Consequent to the ICC Arbitration Conference hosted by ICC Pakistan on 23rd November 2005 at Karachi the Karachi International Arbitration Centre (KIAC) has been formed and its incorporation with the SECP as a Private Limited Company has been in place with its offices at V. M. Plaza, Dockyard Road, West Wharf, Karachi. The KIAC has been formed on the pattern of the Hong Kong International Arbitration Centre (HKIAC), one of the most credible and popular Arbitration Centres in the world. The KIAC will serve as a facility for Arbitration and related services and not as a Arbitration Court.
